#9 - Drunken Cross Country Runner - A 16-year-old Montana HS cross-country runner was arrested for drunk driving. While that might not be THAT unusual, the fact that he was driving home from an away meet at the time AND operating the team van, is a little out of the ordinary. The company that hired the security guard who was supposed to drive and chaperone the team would not comment on why their man was not driving or how the athlete had gotten drunk. #8 - Drunken Golf Cart Thief - Danielle Stanage, 22, was arrested for drunk driving after she stole a golf cart from an Indiana course that still had TWO SETS OF CLUBS IN THE BACK and drove erratically along several country roads before pulling into a driveway and passing out. She blew a .20% which may qualify her for honorary membership in the BadJocks BAC rankings!
#6 - Kings of the Hidden Camera? Three boys in Montana got caught hiding video cameras in the girls locker rooms at their high school. And we're not talking about one camera duct-taped to the ceiling here. This was an elaborate setup involving several cameras and two-way mirrors. The parents of one of the girls "caught on tape" weren't happy the perps didn't get any jail time, and are suing the school, claiming EVERYONE knew about the cameras but did nothing about them. School yearbook gave hints of what was going on, stating, ""Worst Part of Powell County High School? The cameras in the bathrooms." #5 - HS Coach Sex Scandal of the Year - A 21-year-old former HS wrestling coach, Jonathan William Johnson, went on trial in Santa Rosa, CA on 69 felony counts, including statutory rape, sexual battery, false imprisonment, unlawful sex and other crimes involving at least 14 teenage girls! At his trial, one girl testified she and three other 13-year-olds engaged in oral sex with the coach at his apartment, his mother's house and inside his SUV while it was parked in the school parking lot! He eventually received 15 years in jail. #4 - Powder Puff Hazing - Officials at Glenbrook North High School in Northbrook were were stunned when they watched videotapes taken by students who went to a local park last Spring to watch what had become an annual tradition — the "powder puff" football game between junior and senior girls. Instead, they saw junior girls get beaten, splattered with paint and having mud and feces thrown in their faces. Five girls ended up in the hospital, one with a broken ankle and another who needed 10 stitches in her head. In total, 16 students and 2 adults went to court over this incident. Watch one of the videos here. #3 - Naughty Mascot of the Year: The Paisley Panda, mascot of a UK soccer team, had to turn in his cheap Halloween costume after a game incident this fall. Apparently Paisley got in trouble with the local law enforcement at an away match when he walked over to the opponents bench, picked up one of their player's warm-ups and pretended to wipe his rear end with it. You should know this isn't Mr. Panda's first brush with trouble: last season he riled opposing fans when he simulated a sex act with an inflatable sheep in front of them. #2 - Dumbass of the Year - A senior basketball player for Ottawa Hills High School in Grand Rapids, Michigan admitted he dropped a bag of marijuana on the gym floor during a tournament game. It happened during a Class A district boys championship game between Northview High School and the Indians. Northview won the game 55-53. The marijuana was discovered after a first-quarter scuffle for the ball. A photographer noticed what he believed to be litter on the court and alerted a referee #1 - Mepham HS Football Hazing Incident - Yes, it's the kind of summer camp experience you've always wanted for your son: plenty of fresh air, football, and upperclassmen tying him up and shoving objects up his hinder. Okay, so maybe that's not EXACTLY how you pictured it, but it's apparently what happened at Mepham High School in Bellmore, New York this past year. Several members of the football team are accused of sexually abusing younger players at a weeklong preseason camp, possibly by sodomizing them with different objects including broom sticks, golf balls, pine cones. Unfortunately, they won't be tried as adults.
Crazed HS Cheerleader Shoots Rival in Butt
With Paintball Gun! One of the most intense rivalries in north Texas
high school football reached a new violent level this fall when a Decatur cheerleader shot a Bridgeport cheerleader with a paintball gun.
The Decatur cheerleader were driving by Bridgeport's high school late one night
and saw their cheerleaders toilet-papering a tree. The Decatur girl then pulled a
paintball gun out of the back of the pickup truck she was riding in and shot one
of the Bridgeport girls in the rear with a frozen paintball. The shooter
was later confronted by police and accepted responsibility for the act.
Both young women were not allowed to cheer at the big game, which Decatur won
easily 35-14. As far as we know, no arrests were ever made, but several
members of the shooters squad were suspended and the victim was left
with a "big red welt on her fanny." |

affair with the school secretary kept him out of the NBA! In what could arguable be the dumbest sports lawsuit of the year, a former hot shot basketball player from upstate New York,
Rahssan Simmons, faults school officials for not stopping the two-and-half year long sexual relationship he had with a 30-year-old secretary that started when he was only 15. The suit against the school claims that, as a result of his parents--and her boyfriend--catching the pair
kissing at the school, fallout from public exposure of the relationship crushed his dream of playing pro ball. For their part, school officials contend they properly investigated claims of the relationship at the time but that ALL PARTIES INVOLVED VEHEMENTLY DENIED IT
