My Success Story: Lost 7 lbs in 7 Days on Idiot Proof Diet

This weight loss success story of the Idiot Proof Diet comes to us from Cheryl in Alberta:
This diet came to me via a friend who had lost 17 pounds. My age, weight and fitness level were approximately the same as hers and I decided after years of trying WW and various other diets to give it a shot. I started at 150 pounds and within 7 days had gone down to 143 pounds. It was easy to follow and when you add in salsa and other allowable things I found I was never feeling great hunger pangs and was content to eat the 4 small meals a day. So far so good. There are currently 10 women watching me carefully to see if it works and they have promised to hop on board if I am successful. I plan to continue on to my 3 day break and then do another 11 day cycle. Recommend it so far. I also do the 45 minute walking every day and have managed to stay fit for the last 30 years through various exercise routines. Walking is easy!!!

Idiot Proof Diet Review: I Lost 9 lbs the First 11 Days!

This latest review of the Idiot Proof Diet is from Norma, who says:
I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism about 8 years ago. I had gained about 30 lbs. and thought when I started thyroid meds the weight would just come off. WRONG!! No matter how little I ate I still could not lose weight.
Three weeks ago I weighed more than I ever have (35 lbs over normal) and was quite miserable. Everything I did eat bloated me so that I looked pregnant!
Quite by chance I happened upon the "idiots diet" on the net. I decided to give it a try....
Long story short, I lost 9 lbs the first 11 days!!!! The bloating is gone and I'm not hungry!!! On my 3 days off I found that I really didn't want to eat that differently. Now into the 5th day of my second round and am so excited about this! I almost feel guilty because it seems I'm eating more than I did before but still losing the weight! I'm 68 years young and am looking forward to having my slim figure back! Can't thank you enough!!!!!!

Fat Loss 4 Idiots - "It is Truly Idiot Proof! So Far I've Lost 7 lbs!"

I am only just beginning this diet (I'm on my 9th day), but I'm very pleased with the diet as a whole. It is truly idiot proof! I don't have time to count calories and think everything out on my own which has been part of my lack of success with other attempts. I actually stumbled on this diet after being totally disgusted with myself for having tried the NutriSystem diet which smelled like dog food and tasted like I'd expect dog food to taste (again I was looking for something that didn't take my time in figuring it all out).

The Idiot Proof Diet let me choose foods that I like and then it generates a meal plan for me with food preparations. It provides a simple motivational write-up, rules for dieting and a dieting handbook which covers what do once we've reached our goal.

I was so excited to find this because I felt hope that I could actually do it and stick with it. For me the hardest part was to stop drinking the Dr. Pepper (which I did!). For me diet drinks are not an option because they taste so icky. Also, the diet requires 10 glasses of water and walking every day.

So far I've lost 7 lbs. I can hardly believe it! And it totally encourages me to keep it up!

Today's Review: "I Would Recommend the Idiot Proof Diet to Anybody!"

Today's weight loss success story of the Idiot Proof Diet is from Micheal R.:
I have been on the Idiot Proof Diet (day 7), and have lost a total of 9 lbs. so far.

I have been trying really hard and been very focused on losing weight for the past 6 weeks, and this by far has been better than anything I have ever tried. I have been to Weight Watchers (I am a lifetimer), Jenny Craig, Curves, Phen Fen, and even read Dr. Phil's weight loss book, but this is by far the best I have ever done. I am not hungry, I get plenty of calories, and I feel very good.

I would recommend this to anybody serious about losing weight. I do exercise though, even though they only recommend walking.

Another Fat Loss 4 Idiots Success Story: "I Never Once Felt Underfed"

I am currently on my 8th day in the 2nd 11 day period. as of today I have lost 15lbs overall. This is the easiest diet I have ever been on and I feel extremely comfortable with the food selections and have never once felt I was underfed or being deprived. The 3 days in between are great but surprisingly I found myself not over indulging and other than adding some vegetables to my meals I ate much the same as when on the diet. So far I have had a very positive experience with this diet. I should mention that I have not exercised as suggested but pretty much just stuck to my couch potato ways.. This is definitely worth a try

"I started in the beginning of August (2005) with much cynicism. I have not really tried to lose weight before so I had come to accept my new fat body. When I was in High School I was a very successful athlete, weighing about 205 pounds on a 6'1 very large frame. When I went to college, I got hurt during the last practice of the year, and needed surgery on my knee. After the surgery I was not working out, I was just letting it heal, and I gained about 50 pounds. After that football was a definite no go, and i was putting on weight steadily ever since. Once I hit about 295 pounds, I had had enough. I found the Idiot Proof Diet, and started in August. It is now the middle of September (2005) and I am down to 263 pounds. I have a lot of work in front of me, but this diet WORKS."

My name is Kalpana and I am from London. I am 44 years old. I was desperate to lose weight and could not find any diet plans motivating enough, having tried so many. While I was surfing the Internet I saw a very small advert saying ‘Lose 9lbs in 11 days’.

At first I thought it was a joke but when one is desperate anything will seem attractive. I looked at the website a couple of times before I decided to try the Idiot Proof Diet. I thought here goes my money again. I have brought many exercise equipments and tried many diets.

I started last month December 2007 weighing 80 kilos (about 176 lbs) and am now on my 2nd run and glad to say that I am 75 kilos (165 lbs). I am so pleased. I don’t feel hungry and am allowed to eat the foods I like. It’s great.

Wow! Woman Loses 180 lbs of Fat, Gains Celebrity Status

Did you see this lady on Oprah? Her name is Jennifer Marnell and CNN also did a story about her dramtic weight loss and how it all started because she was too fat to sit in a ride at Six Flags! She waited in line for a couple of hours, tried to fit into the ride and when the belt wouldn't buckle had to get out! How embarrassing. Bubbling with personality and quite the ham -- she was no stranger to performing. Marnell loved singing, dancing and acting in local plays while growing up on the outskirts of Atlanta, Georgia.
Even though her family showered her with adoration and unconditional support -- Marnell was hiding something that she was afraid to share with anyone. Since the age of 8, she struggled with her weight.
"I was the only one in the whole family who was overweight," Marnell recalled. "[They] were always supportive and told me I was beautiful ... I didn't realize how depressed I was because my family loved me no matter what."
But other people weren't so nice. Marnell says classmates and other people teased or ridiculed her about her weight. Instead of talking about her feelings -- she turned to food for comfort. As she ate to soothe her pain -- Marnell's weight spiraled out of control.
"It got out of control over the years because it became an addiction," said Marnell. "Food didn't talk back to me and didn't tell me no ... I didn't know how to stop and listen to my body."
Working as a nanny at the age of 27, Marnell was 5-foot-tall and weighed 300 pounds.
The wife and mother says a series of embarrassing moments such as not fitting into a restaurant booth, running out of breath while walking and lacking the energy to play ball or skate with her daughter -- took an emotional and physical toll on her health. But the final straw came during a trip to an amusement park with her family.
"We were at Six Flags waiting on a ride and we waited for an hour-and-a-half," said Marnell. "When we got on, I couldn't latch the belts because I was too big and they had to ask me to get off."
Devastated by the incident, Marnell says she broke down in tears and had a heart-to-heart talk with herself. Afraid that she might die before the age of 30, she was tired of being a "fat mom" and wanted to set a good example for her daughter.
After the mental pep-talk, Marnell started her weight loss journey by joining a gym. She started by exercising in the women's-only section and ate a low-fat, low-calorie diet. After a few months, she'd lost 50 pounds. The weight loss boosted her confidence and she decided to try a water aerobics class which was a lot less stressful on her bones and joints.
Over the next two years, Marnell continued taking group fitness classes, hired a personal trainer to get past a plateau and eventually lost 180 pounds!

Woman Says of Idiot Proof Diet: "I Eat More Now Than I Ever Did"

This is the best $27.00 (Editor's Note: This was the price at the time of Nadine's review) I have spent. I started a one month ago and I went from 235 (no lie) to 212 and I am so excited. I can not believe how easy it is and I recommend it to all my friends. Especially friends that are not having any luck with there current diet. I know when I see my mother & sister next time they are going to really hop on this diet. You get plenty to eat, drink and walking is the key. I don't skip meals anymore, I eat more now than I ever did.

My husband is also joining in on the menu that I have for myself and he is loosing weight too. Although he doesn't walk everyday like I do. But we all know men lose weight fast then women. I highly recommend this diet especially for people that are on Weight Watchers, All Carb Diets or All Protein diets.....what a waste of time and money. Dieter Claims "I Have Never See Weight Come Off So Quickly" Using Fat Loss 4 Idiots

Hi I just wanted to share my review of this diet: I bought this diet about a month ago and was at a starting weight of 137 and I have got to say I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! I would recommend it to anyone and I have to some of my friends. I am currently at 123 lbs for a total of 14 lbs lost (would have been more but I caved a few times), and it took a month to get to that and I am still currently following this diet.

My only word of warning is if you have no control over eating it is not the diet for you, you have to eat exactly as they say otherwise it will not work (trust me I tried to cheat a few times with negative results). I also workout every day so that may help, but I have never seen weight come off so quickly with many of the other diets around. People have said that it is bad because of low carb blah blah blah, but they do give you carbs to eat just not as much of the starchy ones which are not as good for you anyways. I could go on and on about it but really you just need to try it for yourself it works.
