Monday, January 19, 2009High School Basketball Coach Arrested for Sex With Girl 16, More Than 20 Times in Parked Car A high school basketball coach is in jail after a 16-year-old girl told cops they had sex more than 20 times in the past year . . . and almost always in his car while it was parked in an orange grove. Here's more from the Daily Commercial:Donnell Lamar Brown, 26, was charged with having unlawful sex with a minor. He was released from the Lake County jail after posting $10,000 bond. The alleged victim is a student at Eustis High School and was 16 years old at the time of the alleged relationship, said Sheriff's Sgt. James Vachon. Cole said Brown has been a "community coach" with the boys' varsity basketball team since 2007, and he sometimes helps out with the junior varsity basketball team. According to a Lake County Sheriff's Office report, the girl told investigators she and the coach had been having sex for more than a year. The report adds that Brown, who is married, admitted to investigators of having sex with the victim more than 20 times during the past year in his car in an orange grove near County Road 452.Labels: high school coach sex scandal
