Tuesday, December 16, 2008Browns Fan Arrested for Driving Couch? Well, at least they weren't BURNING couches, like they did at Michigan State a few years ago. This time, we have a Cleveland Browns fan, Mike Meredith, whose sofa is motorized. Meredith apparently drives the Go-Kouch (a converted lawn tractor) around a parking lot where Browns fans (both of them) tailgate before games. Mike apparently asked permission to drive the sofa down a city street and was given permission by one cop . . . but not every cop in Cleveland is a Browns fan. So Meredith got a ticket and he must appear in Cleveland Municipal Court on this on charges of driving an unregistered vehicle and having expired plates.
