Ten Bad Jock Stories of 2007 - Includes Bad Jock of the Year! As many of our regular readers notices, in 2007 we pulled HS Coach Sex Scandals off the BadJocks Scoreboard on the main page. Not because we didn't think they were significant anymore, just that they were so outpacing the other three categories each year (usually around 200+) that it just didn't seem fair. Many people complained and we have decided to return it for 2008, as well as making the prevention of future crimes like this our #1 goal. Honorable Mention for Creativity - HS Coach Allegedly Tells Kids They Can Trace His Penis to See Effects of Surgery - If police reports are to believed, this guy had a unique way of seducing his young victims. According to cops, Tom Adame, a basketball coach at Foothill High School in Bakersfield was booked on two counts of "annoying or molesting" a child. Cops say that he "befriended two students who indicated that Adame informed them of a medical procedure he had undergone and offered to trace his penis on a paper to allow them to view." Smooth, very smooth. Both alleged victims are 15 years old and students Foothill High. (KGET) #10. Coach/Police Officer Arrested for Having Sex in Public Park Restroom Wearing a . . . Red Thong? - On the "Coach Sex Scandal Scale" this one ranks right up there: according to park rangers (great stories always start that way, don't they?) Daniel Deusenberry a Strongsville, Ohio police officer who also coached youth football, had sexual encounters in a bathroom in the Mill Stream Reservation on four occasions in March, June and July. Police say that Deusenberry, wearing just red thong underwear, peered out the exit door in the Royalview Picnic Area during one of the incidents and during another incident time he and another man, whom rangers did not identify, watched each other masturbate. Media Stories About HS Coach Sex Scandals May Have Helped Coach Create Own HS Coach Sex Scandal - What's the best way for a HS coach to pick up an underage girl? a) candy and flowers, b) sexually suggestive text messages, or c) strike up a conversation about all those teachers in the news having sex with students? If you said "c" then you might have something in common with Shawn Trotter, 34, a teacher and freshmen girls basketball coach at South Fork High School in Florida. Trotter was arrested this week and charged with three counts of sexual activity with a 16-year-old student. According to the victim, back on on Jan. 18, she and Trotter hung out after class alone, and her teacher talked about media reports (BadJocks, eh?) of teachers getting into trouble for having sex with students. According to the sheriff's report, Trotter then asked her if she "wanted to do that." Apparently not the sharpest pencil in the box, the girl didn't understand what he meant, so he allegedly took her by the hand and led her to a storage closet, where they had sex. On several different occasions. After the second time, the girl claims, Trotter told her what they had done was wrong and that he could get fired and/or go to jail and promised he wouldn't do it ever again. EVER. But they did it again on Jan. 29. Though he denied the affair when police questioned him last week, police found security video on each day that the encounters occurred and found images of the two heading into Trotter's classroom alone. On top of that--and here's where it gets a little disgusting--a detective used a special light to examine the floor of the storage closet, which had several stains that appeared to be "biological fluids." Boys HS Basketball Coach Arrested for Allegedly Secretly Videotaping His 16-year-old Stepdaughter - Usually coaches put the hidden cameras in the girls' locker room, but if you have a hot stepdaughter, maybe her closet seems like a better choice . . . at least that's what cops believe in the case of Millikan High School (California) coach Raul Olivas, according to the Press-Telegram. Authorities say his 16-year-old stepdaughter was looking for something in her closet and found the camera pointed to a part of the room where she usually changed clothes and on it were images of her in various states of undress. (That'll make for some awkward Thanksgiving dinner conversation, wouldn't you think?) He was reportedly charged with "secretly videotaping a juvenile member of his family for sexual gratification." #7. Oouch! Male Cheerleading Coach Busted After "Friends" Find Pictures on His Cell Phone of Him Having Sex With Girl, 14 - No, we didn't purposely misspell "ouch" in the headline to be funny. That's actually this coach's last name: Oouch. As in "Ouch coach Oouch that's hurting me!" According to police, Alexander "Sasha" Oouch, who's a tumbling coach at cheerleading academy in upstate new York, is accused of repeatedly having sex with a 14-year-old female student over the span of eight months. And, cops believe, almost all of those incidents happened at the gym, while her parents were paying him for private lessons. How did he get caught? Here's the best part: according to the police report, Oouch left his cell phone at his apartment while two friends were visiting him there. While he was gone, they got bored and decided to check out the pictures on his cell phone. And what did they find? Allegedly pictures of Oouch having sex with the girl who they recognized from the cheerleading school. One version of this story also claims there was at least one video clip of him having sex with the young girl on his phone as well. (Times Union) #6. Club Soccer Coach Accused of Texting 13-Year-Old For S-E-X, Gets B-U-S-T-E-D - Just like you never know who you're exchanging instant messages with, now coaches who like underage girls will have to worry about who they're sending text messages to. Benjamin Evans, 23, allegedly met a 13-year-old girl at a summer soccer camp he was coaching earlier this month. According to police, Evans began text messaging the girl on Aug. 2, and said during their conversation that he might pay her for sexual favors. By August 6 the girl's mother found out about the naughty text messages and called police who used the girl's phone to arrange to meet Evans last Tuesday night after a text exchange during which he asked if she wanted to perform oral sex on him and then told her how to do it. Always the coach! When caught, police say, Evans admitted to the sexual conversation and now stands charged with criminal solicitation, corruption of minors and unlawful communication with a minor. Boy, 16, Claims to Have Had Sex With HS Tennis Coach, 27, at Least "20 Times Since Early July", May Have Knocked Her Up - Kris Richardson WAS the girl's tennis coach and a teacher at Estero High School until early this summer when she suddenly resigned both posts. Just this month, the parents of a 16-year-old make student of hers complained about a relationship the pair had to police. The young lad, who didn't want to get Richardson in trouble, reportedly told police that he'd had sex with her about 20 times since early July. When the former coach talked to police, she allegedly told them tath she knew the relationship with the boy "was wrong legally" but that she "couldn't control her heart." She has now been charged with unlawful sexual activity with a minor, a felony carrying a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison and the New York Times reports that she is pregnant with the boy's child. (Naples News) #4. HS Coach Sex Scandal Update: "“I’m Not Ashamed to Say That I Love Her” - Apparently, love was not enough for former DeKalb High School teacher and coach Scott R. Coffing, 33, who pleaded guilty this week to child seduction and was sentenced to two years in jail with one year suspended. About all he could say in his defense was that the 16-year-old victim in this case was “quite simply the most amazing person I’ve ever met,” and added, “I’m not ashamed to say that I love her. Bizarre HS Coach Sex Scandal: He Asks Boys to Masturbate in Front of Him - We've reported on a lot of strange high school coach sex scandals over the year: the Nutsack Nutjob who tried to buy coffee at an outdoor stand wearing nothing but slingshot underwear; the coach who convinced several girls on his team that he was sick and needed to have sex with them to get better. But we think this guy weirds them all out: police have arrested Jared P. Bromley, 26, the coach of the Fort Ann High School (New York) varsity boys basketball team and a teacher at the middle school, was arrested Wednesday for allegedly allowing two male students, 11 and 13 years old, to masturbate in front of him on school property. According to one report, cops questioned the teen who told them that Bromley had encouraged them to masturbate and also measured their genitalia. The other victim said such incidents happened 25 to 30 occasions in various rooms at the school, including Bromley’s classroom. (Post Star)

Coach, on Trial for "Child Sex-Enticement" Claims Stained Photo of Female Player Covered in His, Uh, "Bodily Fluids" Should Not Be Admitted as Evidence - Okay, we've had quite a few strange HS Coach Sex Scandals over the years, but this is the first time we've heard of this one: Matthew Hensley, 24, used to be the assistant girls basketball coach at Andrean High School (Indiana). That is, until he was charged in federal court with using an Internet chatroom to entice a 13-year-old girl for sex. (And yes, you guessed it, the "girl" was actually an undercover cop.) Well, Mr. Hensley is awaiting trial now and the cops want to enter a large photograph of one of his former players they found at his apartment into evidence. Why? Well, let's just say that it was found to be covered in some of the coach's own bodily fluids. His lawyers claim the photo should not be included in the trial because the girl in the picture was older than 13 which makes it irrelevant to a case in which Hensley is charged with trying to sexually entice a 13-year-old. Maybe, but it's still creepy. (NWI)

Coach/Teacher, 25, Takes Off to Mexico With Illegal Immigrant Boy, 13 - It's
one of those stories that also seem to be made perfectly for BadJocks: Kelsey
Peterson, 25, used to teach 6th grade at Lexington Middle School in Nebraska.
That is, until rumors started swirling around that she was having an affair with
an eighth-grader, who just also happens to be in the United States illegally.
What to do? How about a mad dash to the border, where Peterson and Fernando
Rodriguez, 13, were taken into custody without incident in the parking lot. They
were apprehended after Peterson reportedly ran out of money. Unfortunately,
because of his immigration status, Fernando is now not allowed back in the US
and Peterson faces charged with kidnapping, child abuse and contributing to the
delinquency of a minor in Nebraska, as well as federal charges of transporting a
minor across state lines or a foreign border for sexual activity.
According to the court documents, the boy called Peterson his "Baby Gurl"
and said their relationship was "just not about the sex but that it was
pretty good." (
