CMS Softball "Initiation" Serves Up Alcoholic Buffet Including "Lewinsky Shots" - CMS isn't actually one Southern California college, but a consortium of several small schools that have banded together to, well from the pictures posted at an online album . . . party. 
The letters on the baseball caps worn by the softball players below belong to three participating schools: Claremont McKenna College, Harvey Mudd College, and Scripps College, . . . but there are seven different schools in all. So, it seems appropriate for a school with so many different elements to want to have diversified drinking when it comes time to initiate the freshmen on the women's softball team: upside down margaritas, shotgunned beers, tequila shots, goldfish shots, and our new favorite, blowjob shots. Haven't heard of blowjob shot before? According to Webtender.com, it consists of Kahlua, Bailey's Irish cream, and is then--not surprisingly--topped with whipped cream, all in a shot glass. The real fun appears to be in the drinking: the shot glass is put down on the table or bar and the drinkers have to put their hands behind their backs, bend over and not only pick up the glass with their mouths, but have to drink it at the same time. Sweet!

Of course, like most of the other schools we've profiled, CMS has a policy against hazing . . . although it must be one of the most confusing we've ever read:

Hazing is prohibited. Definition: an act or the creation of a situation that tends to endanger the mental or physical health or safety of a student; an act or the creation of a situation which tends to humiliate or degrade a student; or an act or creation of a situation which destroys or removes public or private property when these are part of initiation, admission into, affiliation with or continued membership in a group or organization.
An act or a situation becomes hazing when an organization creates the dangerous, illegal, or humiliating situation and exposes students to it.

Do these pictures depict hazing? Before you answer, you might want to check out this op-ed piece by a friend of the site, Dr. Susan Lipkins, an expert on the subject. You might also find it interesting that the person who sits at the top of our World Famous BAC Rankings was a freshman field hockey player for Frostburg State University. Her record blood alcohol content of .365% (most people are dead at that point) came after she was hospitalized following a team hazing event. We're pretty sure the ladies at FSU thought what they were doing wasn't hazing either.
