"Chess for Juniors" and founder of a club of the same name has been
arrested on suspicion of child sexual assault. (Thanks to Shumpy for the link!) Boston.com Chiefs Running Back Arrested After Altercation in Bar With Girlfriend, Other
Woman - If you're going to be a big time sports star and carry on with
several women at the same time, at least make sure they don't all show up at the
same bar at the same time. Kansas City running back Larry Johnson was arrested
Monday night after an altercation with his girlfriend early Saturday morning at
a Kansas City bar. According to police, Johnson showed up with another woman at
the same time the girlfriend did and the two exchanged words. Johnson then asked
the bar to throw out the second woman, probably to make the girlfriend happy.
The bar couldn't legally do that, and Johnson allegedly became irate after his
girlfriend confronted his date. He then grabbed the victim by the shoulders and
shoved her, causing her to fall onto the floor. (Newsday) BadJocks Hazing Update: College Field Hockey Players Get Fined, Probation for
Drunken Bash - It was one of the more incredible stories of girl-on-girl
hazing we have ever reported here at BadJocks (original
post): New members of the Frostburg State University women's field hockey
team were forced to take part in an initiation ceremony that included massive
amounts of booze (one girl registered a BAC of .365%, putting her at the top of
the BadJocks BAC Rankings) and also saw victims
pelted with flour, ice and eggs, and forced to sit in their own vomit and urine.
This took place last December, but didn't make the news until May when one of
the victims pressed charges. This week six current and former players pleaded
guilty to hazing and were fined $300 each. Each young lady was also given a
suspended 60-day jail term and placed on one year of unsupervised probation.
Their convictions could also be expunged if the defendants complete 100 hours of
community service. (Baltimore

Suleiman, an executive with the St. Louis Rams who left a threatening message
for a local newspaper columnist, is not spelled out, team president John Shaw
said Suleiman would be reprimanded. We think the ultimate punishment may be
that he be forced to watch all of the Rams games this season . . . and keep his
potty mouth shut. (STL

much would you charge a gang of sweaty high school girls after they duct taped
your hands and feet together, drag you down a hotel hallway, pile on top of you
and touch you inappropriately? Okay, maybe you're not the right person to be
asking that question, but a former freshman member of the Sanger High School
girls soccer team was awarded $100,000 by a jury last week after they found the
school district responsible for not preventing the attack. In their defense,
Sanger Unified had claimed the students and coaches didn't do anything wrong,
and that the kids were just "playing around." (ABC

#138! Shades of Pamela Rogers Turner? Female Girls Soccer Coach/Gym
Teacher Accused of Sex With Three Teenage Boys - It's the hottest trend of
2005: female teachers arrested for sex with underage boys. (We dubbed it the "Desperate
Housewives Effect" after the hit ABC show.) At one time Traci J.
Tapp, 28, was only famous in New Jersey for being a former soccer standout at
Cherokee High School and later at the College of NJ in Trenton. That all changed
last week when the Hammonton High School physical education/health teacher--and
girl's soccer coach--was charged with one count of sexual assault, two counts of
aggravated criminal sexual contact and three counts of official misconduct.
According to police, Tapp allegedly sexually fondled one 17-year-old male
student after she invited him into her office in the girl’s locker room and
also allegedly invited another 17-year-old to her home where the pair engaged in
sexual acts . . . at her direction. (Her direction?) The third
"victim" was a 16-year-old she allegedly invited to her home where
they engaged in multiple acts of sexual intercourse during one night. Tapp was
hired by the school in January 2001. (Hammonton

Donna HS Football Hazing Update: Four Players Charged - It's been one
of the biggest HS hazing stories of 2005 (in February we called it the "Weiner
Whacker Hazing" after initial reports said victims claimed they had be
struck in the penis): accusations of sexual assault caused star players to be suspended
from the powerful Donna High School football team and coaches were fired for
interfering with the investigation. Now things get even more serious as a
Hidalgo County grand jury indicted four members of the team with felony sexual
assault and indecency with a child. We won't repeat all the allegations, but one
that stuck out to the grand jury was allegedly committed by former star
quarterback Derick Anthony Castillo, 18, who told one victim he was going to
rape him and held the boy down while he tried to pull down his shorts and put
his latex-gloved finger in the kid’s anus. (Brownsville

Allgedly Caught in Park With HS Girl - Details are sketchy, but Kathleen
O’Brien Erickson, 22, a former assistant coach at Tigard High School in
Oregon, was arrested this week on charges stemming from custodial interference
and sex abuse allegedly involving a teen. Police say they the teen’s parents
had told them they were concerned about their daughter and what they called
"continued unwanted contact" by Erickson who had previously been
advised not to have contact with the 15-year-old. (KGW.com

Flag Football This Season - In a follow-up to a story we ran yesterday (see
below), a Macomb County, Michigan judge refused to order a Sterling Heights flag
football league to re-weigh or reinstate 11-year-old Kyle St. Peter. St. Peter,
you may recall, was just over the 150 lb limit at his official weigh-in last
month and was therefore not allowed to play over safety concerns for the other
players. His father of course filed a lawsuit, claiming Kyle's civil rights were
being violated, not because he couldn't play, but because the league refused to
weigh the boy again. (He'd reportedly dropped to 147 lbs since the first weigh
in.) On a positive note, a tackle football league in town has offered to let
Kyle suit up this season. (Free

of 151 lb 11-Year-Old Sue League to Allow Him to Play Flag Football -
Playing flag football is serious business here in Michigan . . . at least for
11-year-old Kyle St. Peter who wants to play just one more season of in a
Sterling Heights flag football league. Only one problem: he's a point over the
league's 150 lb weight limit . . . or at least he was three weeks ago at the
official weigh in date. Of course now he's down to a svelte 147 and he and his
parents think he should be allowed in the league and have filed filed a lawsuit
in Macomb County Circuit Court, saying--We're not making this up!--that the
Sterling Football Club was violating Kyle's civil rights. According to league
officials, weight limits are part of youth football in most leagues with players
grouped by age with a weight limit assigned to each group. This is done for the
safety of the smaller kids who can be outweighed by as much as 50 lbs even with
the weight limits. If a kid is too heavy for his division, he can to move up and
play with older, heavier kids. St. Peter's father doesn't want the league to be
forced to play his son if he is over 150 lbs, just to weigh the kid again and
give him a second chance. (Free
