Air Force Football Coach Reprimanded for Comments About Black Athletes - Didn't we learn anything from the Jimmy "The Greek" incident from years ago? Apparently Air Force coach Fisher "Foot in Mouth" DeBerry isn't much of a fan of history because he appears to be repeating it . . . almost verbatim. Fisher was reprimanded by the school after discussing his team's loss to TCU 48-10. DeBerry said it was clear TCU "had a lot more Afro-American players than we did and they ran a lot faster than we did. Afro-American kids can run very well. That doesn't mean that Caucasian kids and other descents can't run, but it's very obvious to me that they run extremely well." (Seattle Times)

Xavier Basketball Player Arrested for . . . Dognapping? Xavier coach Sean Miller is making starting point guard Dedrick Finn sit out the team's first exhibition game after he was arrested Tuesday night for stealing his girlfriend's pug. According to police reports, Finn and his ex-girlfriend, Megan Potter, got into an argument, he shoved her and then took off with the dog, which friends of his claim he actually owned but stayed with her because he couldn't have it in the dorms. Coach Accused of Having Middle School Girls Demonstrate Oral Sex on Each Other - It's a very strange charge for a middle school teacher/coach with more than 30 years of service, but that's the situation Steve Vance at Logan Middle School in West Virginia finds himself in. Vance was suspended after a female alleged that he had her demonstrate an oral sex act on another female in front of his class. As if that weren't enough, Vance is also under investigation for something that happened while he was acting as the school's football coach. According to reports, after an away game last week, Coach Vance only allowed 6 out of 27 players and support staff to make the return trip to Logan on a county-provided bus. Drunk Dad Arrested for Threatening HS Football Coach During Game for Not Putting Son In - Sounds like all this father wanted was to videotape his bench warming son playing in his first high school football game after four years. But as the clock wound down in the Warren-Mott High School in Michigan last Friday, the 48-year-old man (who police later reported had a BAC of .118%) hopped over the fence that surrounds the field and actually threatened coach Vic Balaj, saying that he would "kick your (expletive)" if the coach didn't get his son into the game. The man's older son helped his father off the field just as police arrived. At that point, both men began arguing and using profanity with police and eventually had to be maced before being arrested. Married White Sox Catcher With New Baby Allegedly Caught With Whipped Cream, Baltimore Bar Hotties - It's not up to BadJocks to tell people how to live their lives, but at least don't be stupid about it! Take catcher A.J. Pierzynski, a star of the White Sox World Series run this season. According to our friends at SportsByBrooks, Pierzynski might want to consider "not having his picture taken multiple times while slobbering all over random hotties at a Baltimore-area meat market." Crybaby of the Week? Soccer Phenom Suspended for Not Apologizing to Teammates Over Remarks - 16-year-old Freddy Adu is probably too old to send to bed without his supper, but the professional soccer team he plays for, D.C. United, think they can still suspend the young multimillionaire for mouthing off about his lack of playing time. According to the Washington Post, last week Adu complained about his lack of playing time and its effects on his chances to play with the U.S. national team. The team gave him until the player's pregame meal Friday to apologize to his teammates and when he didn't, they suspended him for "conduct detrimental for the team" for the opening game. BadJocks understands that Adu finally came to his senses only after he was given a "time out". (BET)

#152! Charles Henry Myers, 52, the girl's basketball coach at Wasson High School coach has been arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl at school. According to the victim, Myers pulled down her pants last week at school and penetrated her with his fingers. The arrest affidavit also says that she accused Myers of lifting up her sports bra and fondling her breasts numerous times in 2003. (Colorado Springs Gazette) Thanks to George Rose for the tip!

Jockey in New Zealand Warned by Track Officials About "Making a Face" After Win - Michael Walker is one of the leading jockeys in New Zealand. He also happens to be part Maori, the native people of that country. The Maori have a tradition of making a "pukana" face to celebrate by rolling your eyes and sticking out your tongue. Racing officials have told Walker to stop doing it because it was not "in the best interests of racing." Said Walker, "I am very proud of where I come from and my heritage. People probably thought I was doing it to be cheeky - that's not the case." (NZ Herald)

#153! Edward Norton, 39, head football coach at Lake Howell High School in Florida was arrested last week accused of having sex with a student and taking nude photos of her. According to police, the 16-year-old victim told them that she had a consensual sexual relationship with Norton since May and that the couple had intercourse more than 10 times AND participated in other sexual activities. (We're not really sure what those are, but you can use your imagination.) The relationship came to light after another school employee found papers at the school, allegedly written by Norton, that "appeared to be about Norton's love and sexual relationship" with the girl. Using a search warrant, cops combed Norton's home and found photos on a digital camera that depicted the coach and the student engaged in sex acts. (Orlando Sentinel) Thanks to Joe L. for the link!

Update #1: FBI is Investigating! As BadJocks predicted last weekend, the FBI is getting involved because of the Mann Act (transporting a person across state lines for sexual purposes). Can Federal charges be far behind? The Bureau is going to review the findings of the Hennepin County Sheriff's Department investigation into alleged lewd behavior by several players more than two weeks ago aboard two chartered boats on Lake Minnetonka. Update #2: Strippers From Atlanta's Gold Club Aboard Cruise? Minneapolis TV station KSTP has been able to confirm that Atlanta police are looking into the possibility that several women who work in Atlanta area strip clubs may have been flown up to Minnesota for the Vikings’ boat party on Lake Minnetonka. One of the clubs they are looking at is the infamous Gold Club, whose owners were tried for credit card fraud. It was at that trial that former NBA star Patrick Ewing admitted receiving oral sex from a stripper in the club while the owner and manager sat next to him. (KSTP)

And That's Why They Don't Want You Tearing Down the Goalposts - A 20-year-old student at the University of Minnesota-Morris d ied over the weekend during a homecoming game victory post-game celebration where football fans rushed onto the field and pulled down a goal post. The cause of Richard Thomas Rose's demise was not immediately clear, but it's presumed he was done in by a blow from a falling goal post. (WJAC-TV)

"Good Kid" Suspended From School for Wearing Giant Penis Costume Outside Homecoming Dance - Another homecoming dance ruined by some dick! It started out as a practical joke, but now 14-year-old Pioneer Middle School student James Watkins has been suspended from school and may face sexual harassment charges. Why? Well, young Mr. Watkins and a friend thought it would be funny to appear outside the Steilacoom High School homecoming dance dressed in an inflatable penis costume. (We can just see him waving to passing cars.) School officials didn't get the joke, and even though Watkins was not on school property at the time, he was still suspended for three days for his prank. His parents plan to fight the suspension saying that James is "a straight-A student, an athlete and a good kid who made a mistake." (KIRO TV - Link includes video clip)
