Daughter of Florida Football Coach Pulls "Do You Know Who I Am?" Card on Cops

It used to be, you had to be somebody pretty important to pull the "Do You Know Who I Am?" card out on the cops before they tried to arrest you: former heavyweight boxing champion, baseball homerun king, midget wrestler . . . but now it seems that almost anyone is sports--even kin folk--whip it out at the drop of a hat, or keg.

The latest case? Jillian Kristina McCarney, 21, daughter of Dan McCarney, University of Florida football defensive line coach and assistant head coach. Jillian, a student at the University of Iowa (dad was a long time coach at rival Iowa State) was apparently hosting a party at her apartment over the weekend when cops were called. Things didn't go well with the officers (wouldn't you hate to be a cop in a college town?) and Ms. McCarney decided not to be arrested. According to the Press-Citizen:

Police said McCarney became verbally abusive after the officer arrested her for having a disorderly house, screaming "Do you know who my dad is? He is Dan McCarney."

According to police, Jillian McCarney attempted to strike the officer with her left shoulder and kick the officer with her left leg, while continuing to be verbally abusive and threatening violence multiple times.

Jillian McCarney told the officer she "guaranteed all her charges will be 'dropped' because her name is 'McCarney'" and they have "a lot of money," according to police.
